I'll put this in our future list of developments.
What you could do is:
1) Add another variable node with the altered variables in it
2) To trigger any specific episode for this user, add a GoTo Episode node in this specific path.
It isn';t possible to re-engage specific users who are inactive in specific episodes. The re-engagement will not differentiate users based on their state in the chat.
Could you please point me to your bot link at onsequel.com and I'll check how you've set the re-engagement in the start node?
In FB, you will not be able to restart if you are in a delay state and made changes to this delay time as well.
I'm afraid this is not yet implemented. Will update you once this get's implemented.

I suppose the Re-engagement feature in Start node have these paramaters - last time user sent message, specific date/time.
Right now, the variable ID can't be changed at every trigger. Will put this in our future pipeline though.

I checked and looks like the re-engagement episodes will trigger for all user's who have been inactive for the mentioned time period in these episodes. What exactly happened in this case? Is there any screenshot where it triggered without the inactive period set?
