Yes. It's quite simple. In the example below, I used an INPUT Node. (Create a new INPUT Node from the Advanced Node Menu screen. Click on the (+) under a node, and then click on the (...) "more" icon.)

1. Select who's talking

2. Type in your question

3. Create (select) a Variable Label. In this case, I typed in "test."

4. In the following Message Node, i typed in:

Hello there, {test}

Note: When you type in the first curly bracket {, it will bring up your list of Variable labels. Select from your list. OR just type in {<label label>}, in this example case {test}

Yeah. Unfortunately, it's an API limitation. This should/will (hopefully) improve over time as the UX improves.

Goto Nodes can only be added to your tree at the very end of a branch. It won't let you create a Goto Node or Reset Node in the middle of an existing tree branch.

You could create a new Decision Node at that "upper" point, and branch off of that to a GOTO node. http://sequelcreators.userecho.com/topics/55-how-do-i-insert-a-whole-new-branch-on-an-existing-tree/

Hope this helps!

Hi Jonathan,

Not sure what issue you're encountering here. Are you not able to connect the GOTO node to another node? Is it not playing correctly?

When you create a GOTO node, it should show up with a blue arrow that you can "stretch" over to another node. It won't let you connect to an "illogical" node, e.g. another GOTO node. Once you connect it, the blue arrow should turn into a light green path line.

If the node you want to connect to off-screen, then you have to move the arrow to the screen edge and it will s-l-o-w-l-y scroll over there.

Please let me know a few more details on your GOTO issue, and we'll try to help out! Thanks!

Well, sorta kinda. We now show a "Replay the Episode" that appears at the end of the Episode. It allows the reader to replay an Episode from the very beginning again, but they need to finish it first.

"Leave" just means that you won't get any channel notifications, but it still keeps your "place" in the story. You could scroll back up and catch up on where you were.

I don't know when we will get the ability to restart the story anytime you want. :-( I will inquire.

I don't know about you guys, but Statistics are rather equally fascinating and impenetrable. Attributed to Mark Twain is the line: "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics." :-)

Anyhow, we're still in the middle of collecting and parsing the data. Amazing thing, data, how you can slice and dice it all ways from sundown. The number of users is still relatively small (and still mainly Aussies) so there are large grains of salt to be had there (e.g.: some story content is more "US-centric" in nature.)

My sense is we're a couple of weeks away from having "solid" returns on individual channels. Our plan is to provide data charting via the Author's Tool per each Channel.

You are correct. Most stories will appear under multiple headings. Still, it was a bear trying to configure our stories under these few catagories.

Nope. No re-editing required. If we're making Time Delay adjustments, we're not touching the dialogue. (Though we might tweak a line that denotes a specific time, e.g.: "See you in 30 minutes" to "See you in a bit.") Our tenant is Primum non nocere.

Yup! A "Story Reset" button is in the works. It would allow you to replay a story from the very beginning.

I hate this bug too! It only happens in a User Choice, but it's annoying. It has been reported. Hopefully fixed soonest.
