Will there be a rating system or some way for users to recommend stories?

I know there's a place for the author to write a blurb, though I don't see any blurbs in the app yet. I'm assuming that's because everyone's more focused on writing the actual story rather than the blurb (I know I am), but being able to read that would help when deciding on which story(ies) to try out.

The editorial team has recommended a couple stories to me to check out to get ideas on a couple things to help with my own story, and I've enjoyed them a lot. At least one is a story that didn't appeal to me at first glance, so it seems like having some kind of place for reviews/recommendations/ratings/whathaveyou might be useful from a user perspective. Plus, users are used to having the opportunity to rate or review their entertainment. Something simple like voting or liking would work if you didn't want to incorporate a star system.

I have a couple things on my wish list:

The ability to import the dialogue from a document. I prefer writing not in the tool and that would be a nice option.

The ability to do almost everything with keyboard commands. It would be really handy to be able to use a keyboard shortcut to open a new node and select the character. I like keyboard shortcuts better than using a mouse for the most part. It would make entering everything a lot faster and more efficient if I didn't have to use the mouse nearly as much.

I think a pause button would be nice. I know closing the app stops it when the current node is complete (at least that's what I assume). But sometimes, as a user/reader, I need to pay attention to something else for a brief moment and want to be able to look away to deal with whatever needs my attention without having to close the app to make it stop.

I like the open node idea as well. As it is, I write everything in another program and then copy it into the authoring tool because I like being able to reference different parts of the story easily. I agree that seeing how the images, gifs, emojis are spaced would be helpful too.

I write mine script-style in Evernote. I like to be able to see everything that's going on too much to write the first draft in the authoring tool. Inputting it there gives me a chance to do first pass edits and I add the media I want to use then.

I hate Word, and only use it when I have to. I do most of my writing in Scrivener. I might switch out of Evernote and put this in Scrivener, too, because I like how easy it is to navigate between scenes there.

Okay, that makes more sense. Thanks.

Is the Time to Play stat the one on the Episode cover? Is that just the time for the actual author created delays and doesn't include the dialogue? Because mine says 4 mins, and it takes me like twice that to get through the whole story in the simulator.

Hi, I'm Jessica. I write contemporary and new adult romance under my pen name Jerica MacMillan. I'm new to interactive fiction, but I'm having fun with it so far. I'm still coming up with the title of my channel. For me, titles are either immediately obvious, or really hard to come up with. Usually it's the latter. I'm looking forward to checking out everyone else's work!

Quiet or rain sounds. If I'm having trouble focusing, or the ambient noises of the household are too distracting, I turn on rain sounds and use headphones to block them out. It also helps when the distractions are in my head. Music is too distracting, because I pay too much attention to it and don't get work done.
