How to kill links

I somehow made a link from the end of my story to the middle. Now I'd like to kill that link. I've got a line from the end of my story that goes back up the story tree and reattaches in near the middle. When I delete what it's attached to or where it comes from, the link just reattaches to other bubbles.

I'd like to kill this loop without deleting all the content that exists in between. Is there any way to do that?

These links can be deleted individually by clicking on them and pressing the DELETE button (in any no-input nodes, there is currently no X-button in the node.)
