setting in contrast to the texting interface?

Hi.

I just wonder how you handle the texting interface as I know some of you do stuff with fantasy, witches etc? Is it still set in modern day or do consider Sequel as a platform to present the story rather than something that would simulate real life conversation?

I kinda handles Sequel more like a Messenger platform where several people chat at once, so it's not a regular SMS. But my story is set in modern day and life so I don't really have a problem with it.
